raul najar: Just installed the K&N on the original air filter frame, got it from Walmart (online)its a universal and it fit perfect after a little bit of cutting and grinding with a Dremmel tool, removed the muffler baffles and it sounds nice, was thinking about the re-jetting im almost at sea level(California) dont know if a #130 be good for me.Crabjetkits say i should go with a #120 what do you think??

Muhammad Rashed: OK, l will wait for a picture and please show me the both spark plugs color and explain the condition.

Muhammad Rashed: Hi l have same bike but my bike's rpm in cold position its all right but after 20-30 minutes later rpm is not still it's vibrating

raul najar: id like to know what air filter you used plz.,would be great if you could show us how you adapted it,,also what gearing you were going to use for highway,(taller gearing)thnx .

billiejeanismylover1: Just bought an 07 with 600 miles on it. Really want to rejet but I can't find high flow air filters. Which ones did you get? I couldn't find anything from K&N

Jonathan Burks: my first bike is about to be a 99 nighthawk 250. should have it in 1 more week. very excited. getting it for $500. it's in mint condition. 16000 miles. mechanically perfect. this bike was very well taken care of. definitely looking for ideas for customization.

Radhames Santos: Hi how much this cost

Kyle French: how tall is too tall for this bike..... im 6'3?????

EmReddingOfficial: Can it fit 2 people comfortably?

Moses Bullrush: Weight affects acceleration but not top speed. Top speed is only limited by wind resistence.

Paul Reichle: I put three washers on the needle, because on this bike it is unadjustable and went up (2) jet sizes. Then I custom fashioned the K&N filter to the body of the original filter so it would just clip in and out of the original airbox with no modification. I tried it without the lid on the box and it choked. That combination yielded consderably MORE power and acceleration and little to no warm up time. The plugs read perfect color, Iridiums.

cantstandzya: yes, the extra keys can cause damage to the ignition because it has happenned to me. it is a pain in the butt....watching someone take our your ignition and replace the guts. took about an hour coz he knew what he was doing.i only use the one ring in case i need to attach it and also i hang my keys up on a hook. thanks

December Twentynine: I don't like the idea of that because I'm paranoid that the excessive weight of all the needless keys will eventually damage the ignition switch therefor causing problems. But that's just me. Instead I don't even use a key ring because my bike (which looks exactly like this guy's, only it's 15 years older and it's blue) doesn't need it. It only uses one key, and that fits the gas tank lid, the steering lock and the helmet lock (that also releases the seat.)

4343Jonathan: turn your idle down

cantstandzya: got enough keys mate?

lar4305: Hi, i have the same bike, 1997, 250. The bike is great, so dam easy to operate. Good luck with it.

jwilly452: hey, i have a 2007 nighthawk, im in luv with it. Im about to tear it apart and the cafe racer route(because, as far as i know, nobody in my area of texas has done one :0 Can toy help me out with jetting recomendations after i change exhaust(goint to dunstall replicas, no baffles) and i cant, for the life of me find a KnN filter( box removed.

Paul Reichle: The bike is completely different, more responsive, a nice bark in the mid throttle, and fast acceleration. No hesitation. The Daytona bars are a MUST for better control. The answer is YES!

Paul Reichle: Man, when it was stock it hesitated horribly while accelerating cold. Dangerous. It rides smooth as silk now. Three washer shim on the needle. Two size bigger jets. K&B filter in the original airbox frame. Can't complain. I have new sprockets for highway speed but haven't put them on yet. Doesn't really need to go 100 m.p.h,

Eric Acosta: Hi, I have the same bike and year. Did u notice an increase in performance after your modifications?
