Zaki Wasik: CH-1 is great for Rhodes and Wurli! If the pitch effect is to strong it will sound like a honky-tonk. Took me a while to find a well suited chorus pedal, but this one does it for me. Sounds like I should not worry about getting the CE-2.

cwir88: Get an analog CH-1 (blue/pink label) and problem solved. CE-2 is great chorus for sure, but it is NOT worth that sick'n'crazy money you have to pay these days for it.

Thomas Catlin: CE-2s sell for well over 3 times what the CH-1 goes for. After watching this, I don't understand why.

The8TrackChap: There's not much I can say other than the CE-2 really has "the sound of the '80s."

MintCandies3: I personally thought the CH-1 sounded richer and warmer than the CE-2. Just my opinion. Also, I think the CE-2 is way too subtle compared to the CH-1.

tosher777: theyre both just average. They can't possibly compete with the CE1

Swupperdupper: I've been A/B'ing these two pedals for some days now, and I find that I can tune the CH-1 to be damn near indiscernible from what the CE-2 produces. It has to be said that my CH-1 is an 1989 model with the same chip and driver as the CE-2. That being said (and i hate to admit it, because frankly, i can't hear anything that justifies the second hand prices of the CE-2), I find myself coming back to the CE-2...

Pedro Z: I ended up selling the CH-1, it's too subtle for my preferences.

Romain Bigeard: just tamer period

bruvvamoff: Is it tamer because you can back off the effect level, or is it just tamer period?

Romain Bigeard: Well, the CH-1 is "tamer" and probably a bit more transparent than the CE-2 which has a "big chorus" tone. So, if you want a rather subtle chorus, the CH-1 is great whereas the CE-2 is a more ostentatious effect.

Omar: I'd love to hear RBIGEAD's opinion and differences about these 2 pedals.

Omar: both pedals are great in proper hands, I bought my ch-1 because of Lush

Romain Bigeard: @orlandoontiveros Cool!

LanOsb133: @TheDcervi Yupp the CE2's can go up to $300 (with certain labels and were it was made) and the CH-1 is something like 60ish

TheDcervi: @LanOsb133 you lucky freak. Thy are pretty damn expensive on ebay .

LanOsb133: I picked up a Ce2 for $20 and a CH-1 for $30. :) I think they are both equally amazing

coldwar1977: the CE-2 sounds a little bit better, BUT the CH-1 sounds already very good!!!

Romain Bigeard: @keneducation I am pretty sure it is an analog one but I'll check the label. Thank you!

Romain Bigeard: @EnnesX No worries!
